The technical program for SMiRT 16 consisted of an Opening Address, a Leadership Forum on “Challenges to Structural Mechanics: Safety and Cost,” six plenary lectures, a plenary panel session, 99 paper sessions and 10 workshop sessions. In addition, there were two Post Conference Seminars.
