Sunggook Cho serves as CEO and Director of R&D center of INNOSE Tech Company. He received his Ph.D. in civil engineering from Incheon National University, Korea in 2004 with his thesis on the seismic fragility analysis of nuclear power plant structures. He worked as an engineer designing the nuclear power plant structure in Korea Power Engineering Company (now KEPCO-E&C). He has over 30 years of experience in seismic design and structural mechanics engineering and participated in many national R&D projects to develop seismic engineering technology. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Civil Structural Design. His research activities focus on seismic design and evaluation, equipment seismic qualification, and seismic fragility analysis. He has served as members of the technical committees of Korean society including the Korean Society of Civil Engineers (KSCE) and Earthquake Engineering Society of Korea (EESK). He was received the Excellence Thesis Award (2004) from the KSCE, the Excellence Research Citation Award (2009) from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, the Excellence Research Citation Award (2020) from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Excellence Research Institute Citation Award (2021) by the Minister of Science and Technology, and several Excellence Papers Awards from various academic societies in Korea.
